Egypt

Egypt is a large country, but much of it is desert. The majority of Egyptians (95% of the total population) live in areas near the Mediterranean Sea and along the Nile River. Egypt, one of the world’s oldest tourist destinations, has wowed visitors for centuries with its collection of world-famous ancient sites and legendary national treasures. Egypt is famous for its ancient Egyptian civilization, which flourished for thousands of years and also know for its pyramids, pharaohs, mummies, and tombs.
